Farm Crawl Guest Guide

Here’s some info to help you & your family make the most of your

Farm Crawl experience on Saturday, July 18!

10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Mission

Drive yourself from farm to farm. You choose what farms to visit, the number of farms you wish to visit and in what order. Use the interactive map above to plan your route and timing. Double click and zoom in on the map so you can see all of the farms.
Some drives take 10–25 minutes between farms and several farms are only a 5 minute drive between locations.
Follow parking signs and staff directions at the farms. Some farms may have limited space so carpooling is a great option!

Tickets are required and must be purchased online. Bring your smartphone to show your digital version or a printed copy to present at each farm.

Yes, tickets can still be bought on the day—online by phone—even from farm parking lots farmcrawl.ca until 2 p.m. unless they are sold out.

Bring cash or a credit card or debit card if you’d like to purchase farm products like produce, jams, honey, maple syrup, alpaca socks and more! Some farms will have lunch foods and snacks available for purchase.
Cameras or smartphones (Don't forget to enter our Farm Crawl Favourites contest! See below!)
Cooler with ice packs - for any purchases you make
Reusable cloth or grocery bag (some farms will be selling Farm Crawl tote bags)
Dress for the weather (rain or shine!): wear layers, bring a sun hat, wear sunscreen, and choose sturdy, closed toe footwear. (umbrellas and rain gear for inclement weather)

Farmers and their staff are working with animals and equipment—stay on paths, follow instructions, and supervise children. Each farm has different areas open to the public. Respect barriers, animals and guidelines to keep everyone safe. Do not enter restricted areas, and always ask before petting farm animals.
This is a rain or shine event unless there's dangerous weather like lightning. In that case, activities will be paused or may be canceled. In the event this happens, you are asked to return to your car until the event resumes, or is canceled.
Friendly reminder: to keep things calm and safe, DOGS (with the exception of Service Dogs) ARE NOT allowed on the crawl Please leave your pets at home.

5. Choose Your Own Adventure

Explore at your pace! With many farms participating, a full crawl in one day is possible, but families may prefer visiting 4–5 farms; adults might aim for 7–9 farms.
Check the map and farm activities ahead of time so you can prioritize your must-see spots.
Visit the Crawl Activities page to see special farm activities including demonstrations, tastings, etc. - each farm offers something different!
Farmers love to share what they do at their farms! Don't be shy - ask questions and take it all in!

6. Share Your Experience - Farm Crawl Favourites Photo Contest

We'd love to see your Farm Crawl experiences. If you want to enter our photo contest, post your favourite photo and tag @farmcrawlhamont on Instagram or @farmcrawlhamilton on Facebook, and add the hashtag #farmcrawl2026 or email your photo to farmcrawl@gmail.com

Provide your name and the name of the farm the photo was taken at. One entry per person. Enter by 5 p.m. on July 20. You'll have a chance to win a $100 gift card to use at the Farm Crawl farm of your choice! Click here for contest rules.

Items Worth Noting

Liberty Way Farm & Manorun Organic Farm will have lunch items for sale.

Several of the other farms will have specialty items (milk, ice cream, snacks, etc.)

available for purchase.

If you have purchased tickets, and can no longer attend, they are not refundable. Please pass them along to a friend.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited at all farms.
